Lawrence Keshiro
Head, Financial Control

Lawrence Adejuwon Keshiro is the Head of Finance at FCMB Pensions Limited, with over two decades of post-graduation professional experience, including more than 18 years in the Nigerian Pension Industry. He is a seasoned financial expert and analyst with deep competence in financial management, budgeting, strategic planning, regulatory compliance, risk management, taxation, and investment oversight.

Lawrence joined FCMB Pensions Limited in February 2015 as Head, Fund Accounts Unit and was appointed Head, Financial Control in January 2021, roles through which he has played a critical part in strengthening financial discipline, enhancing internal controls, and aligning financial strategy with the company’s long-term business objectives.
Prior to joining FCMB Pensions, Lawrence spent eight years at Premium Pensions Limited, where he served as Head, Risk Management Unit, leading the development and implementation of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework, and later as the pioneer Head, Fund Accounts, where he successfully established the department from inception. Earlier in his career, he worked with Mutual Savings and Loans Limited (Mortgage Bankers) as Head, Accounts and Payments, and with Strategic Capital Alliance Limited (SCAL), a financial advisory and consulting firm, where he rose to Head, Financial Advisory Services.

He holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Administration (Upper Class Division) and an MBA in Finance. He is an alumnus of Lagos Business School, having completed the Senior Management Programme (SMP), and has attended several local and international executive trainings, including programmes at EuroMatech, UAE. Lawrence is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (ACIT), and a Graduate Member of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS).
